Another late-season change has been made to the NFL schedule, and it should please every fan.
Earlier this week, the NFL announced a change to the ‘Sunday Night Football” slot for Week 16. The Baltimore Ravens will host the New England Patriots in prime time, with the Cincinnati Bengals-Miami Dolphins game in South Beach being moved to 1:00 p.m. EST.
Now, fans can look forward to another juicy NFL schedule change, this one being a doubleheader on Saturday, Dec. 27.
The NFL has announced that the Los Angeles Chargers’ home game against the Houston Texans has been moved to 4:30 p.m. EST on NFL Network. Additionally, the Green Bay Packers’ home game against the Green Bay Packers was moved to 8:00 p.m. EST on Peacock.

Last week, two other notable changes were made to the NFL schedule for Week 16: The Philadelphia Eagles’ home game against the Washington Commanders was moved up to Saturday, Dec. 20 at 5:00 p.m. EST. The Packers’ road game against the Chicago Bears was moved to 8:20 p.m. EST.
ESPN’s computer model gives the Packers a 93.6 percent chance of reaching the postseason. The Texans and Chargers have odds of 88.0 and 78.2, respectively. So yes, this Week 17 double-header on Saturday is absolutely monumental.
Of course, there’s also the can’t-miss Christmas Day tripleheader: Dallas Cowboys at Washington Commanders, Detroit Lions at Minnesota Vikings and Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs.
For Week 17, the Bears will visit the San Francisco 49ers on ‘Sunday Night Football.’ Both teams boast 9-4 records, and that game could very well determine the final playoff spot in the NFC.
Keep in mind that all the times for Week 18 are to be determined, as the NFL will want to flex games accordingly based on which ones carry the most playoff implications.
