Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Cameron Taylor-Britt is set for a five-day stay in prison.

The 26-year-old is headed to jail following a guilty plea to reckless driving and driving without a license on Tuesday.

Taylor-Britt’s legal troubles stem from incidents that took place in 2025.

Police issued him two sets of tickets last year.

Cincinnati authorities first accused him of driving recklessly in June, while five occupants were on board. They ticketed him again in September, alleging he was involved in a street race, which resulted in charges of driving with a restricted license, drag racing, and failing to obey road signs.

According to court officials (H/T The Enquirer), the Bengals defensive back pleaded guilty to two of the charges. Prosecutors dropped the others as part of a plea bargain.

Taylor-Britt received an immediate sentence and was admitted to the Hamilton County Justice Center late on Tuesday morning.

The video below shows him headed there on crutches.

Cam’s sentence follows news of New England Patriots star Stefon Diggs’ strangulation and assault charges from last week. Another Patriots player, Christian Barmore, is also facing assault charges.

Cam Taylor-Britt Has Likely Played His Final Snap For The Bengals

The Bengals drafted Taylor-Britt out of Nebraska in 2022, selecting him in the second round.

Season-ending Lisfranc surgery in November brought a premature end to his 2025 campaign.

The former Cornhuskers standout will be a free agent this year. His four-year rookie deal with the Bengals ended this season. He isn’t expected to return to Cincinnati.

The Alabama native has started 40 times for the Bengals, appearing in a total of 47 games. He was considered a future cornerstone of the Bengals franchise, but his play declined in 2024, and he was benched on several occasions.

Taylor-Britt made eight appearances this season, starting only twice before suffering the injury.
