A daring fan attended the Philadelphia Eagles’ open scrimmage at their Lincoln Financial Field wearing a Tom Brady New England Patriots jersey, and it appears he lived to tell the story.
This Sunday, the Super Bowl champions hosted their only open practice of the summer. They went full contact in a scrimmage format with over 60,000 fans in the stands, with all proceeds going to the Eagles Autism Foundation.
One male fan decided to dress in Brady’s iconic No. 12 jersey, drawing a chorus of boos from the home crowd, whom he had no qualms taunting, even flipping double-birds.

It appears he was fortunate that Philadelphia is in a good mood after winning the Super Bowl back in February, as they are known to get pretty rough.
They also love birds, so there’s that too…
As for the scrimmage, it’s reported that the defense came out on top, winning 12-9 in a modified scoring scheme. First-round pick Jihaad Campbell was a standout, having made a sack and scored a pick-six.
On the other side of the ball, a Jalen Hurts pass to DeVonta Smith on a 25-yard go route was one of the highlights.
Fans were also treated to autographs, games they could participate in, as well as cheerleader/drumline performances.
On a sour note, Pro Bowl left guard Landon Dickerson suffered a late injury that saw him carted off the field. He has since been diagnosed with a meniscus problem.
The Eagles will have joint practices with the Cleveland Browns in Philly’s NovaCare Complex this Wednesday and Thursday before their preseason game against the AFC North outfit on Saturday.
It will mark the third time in four years that the teams have come together for joint practice.
