Brandon Graham is Coming Out of Retirement
Crossing Broad Crossing Broad

The last time we saw Brandon Graham on a field was in Super Bowl 59 lifting the Lombardi. Well now it might be Sunday against the Giants because he’s coming out of retirement:

I’m conflicted on this, on one hand if he wants to come back and help bolster the defensive line you gotta love that. I wonder if he’ll assume a player coach role. The Eagles must not like the defensive end prospects they could get on the market or satisfied with the ones in their locker room if they’re calling BG out of retirement for Year 16. The defense looked good on Sunday, but that was against Carson Wentz. Over the next six weeks they have Jordan Love, Jared Goff, Dak Prescott, Caleb Williams, and Justin Herbert so they’ll need guys to get to the QB. On the other hand he had the perfect send off and the worst thing he can do is ruin his legacy, which is more likely. How many times has a guy come out of retirement and made an impact on the team he’s playing for? Michael Jordan’s gambling suspension doesn’t count. Tom Brady, Mario Lemieux, and Roger Clemens are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head that had made a solid immediate impact. I feel like there are more cases of Brett Favre’s throughout history. I love that he did a podcast, some endorsement deals, and some appearances for a couple of his businesses and thought to himself this shit is for the Birds (no pun intended):

The real story here, if you’re paying attention, is that BG couldn’t cut it as a content creator. Not so easy to write up a couple thousand words a week and record an hour long podcast is it BG? That’s the real headline “Failed Content Creator Signs With Eagles”.
