Who’s in and who’s out for the big game.
The Philadelphia Eagles officially announced the inactives list for their Super Bowl LIX matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The following Eagles players WILL NOT PLAY: Bryce Huff, Tanner McKee, Darian Kinnard, Trevor Keegan, Ainias Smith, Eli Ricks, and Lewis Cine.
Brandon Graham is officially ACTIVE after being activated from injured reserve on Saturday. It’ll be interesting to see just how much the 36-year-old plays in what could very well be the final game of his career.
Graham’s return pushed Huff down to being the fifth guy in the edge rusher rotation. Huff was barely playing as the fourth option and he doesn’t contribute on special teams, so, that’s why he’s inactive. It’s certainly not ideal that the Eagles’ most expensive free agent signing from this past offseason is a healthy scratch for their biggest game. The Huff addition was a rare miss from an otherwise strong offseason by Howie Roseman.
Under the NFL’s emergency third quarterback rule, McKee is only allowed to play if both Jalen Hurts AND Kenny Pickett leave the game.
Kinnard, Keegan, Smith, Ricks, and Cine are all healthy scratches once again.
Nicholas Morrow and Khari Blasingame are active after being temporarily elevated from the practice squad.
