I know Brandon Aiyuk in a Cowboys uniform would look pretty darn good at first glance.
If you put him beside CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens, it would give the Cowboys three wide receivers who all win in different ways. Dak Prescott would have options for days all over the field.
Brian Schottenheimer could draw up some pretty crazy plays with those three lined up, and all I would be able to say to an opposing defense is, in my best bad guy from the movie Taken voice is, “Good luck.”
However, that may be the easy part.
The problem I see is Dallas would also be taking on a large contract, and enough off-field foolishness to make Antonio Brown almost seem normal.
𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: The Cowboys are now one of the FAVORITES to sign 49ers star wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk
There is a 21% chance that Aiyuk gets traded or signs with Dallas, according to the Polymarket App.

That’s where I would start slowly rolling up the windows and locking the doors.
Brandon Aiyuk would not be traded to Dallas to come in and copy Lamb and Pickens. That’s just not what’s needed.
CeeDee Lamb is the centerpiece of the receivers. We have all watched him for years move around the formation, win underneath, and turn a short catch into a chunk play.
George Pickens is the physical outside threat for Dallas. He can stretch the field, make the contested catch look easy, and keep safeties from creeping up too far.
I think Brandon Aiyuk would fit between those two very well.
Aiyuk’s route running is cleaner than Pickens’, and he creates separation which helps not to make every catch a wrestling match. If a defense shades outside on Lamb and Pickens, then Aiyuk works the middle. Stay balanced, and Dak will find whoever gets open first.
On the field, this makes plenty of sense.
I think this could be the biggest football benefit.
We have all watched CeeDee Lamb get most of the attention from every defense Dallas faces. Adding another polished receiver would make a defenses job harder bracketing him all game.
George Pickens makes the defense respect the outside threat and is the perfect compliment to Lamb, but adding Aiyuk would give Dallas another player who can win quickly and punish softer coverage.
That third threat would leave Lamb and Pickens with cleaner matchups, which I think would be bad news for the rest of the league.
At least until…
We have all seen the headlines about Aiyuk and his crazy antics on social media.
