Another day, another Brandon Aiyuk video is posted online. The disgruntled San Francisco 49ers wide receiver shared yet another clip talking about his holdout situation with the franchise. However, this time around, Aiyuk claims he hasn’t had an agent for several months.
In the video, the 28-year-old wideout stated he “terminated” his agent. He says he finalized the decision through the NFLPA back in November 2025 and has been working without one since then.
“Also, I do not have an agent,” said Aiyuk. “I terminated my SRA with my previous agent through the NFLPA last year in November.”

Considering most agents would likely not advise players to share constant videos bashing their current team nearly every day, Aiyuk’s comments come off as believable. However, Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team claimed that NFLPA records do not necessarily match the five-year veteran’s claims. Regardless, Meirov somewhat believes Aiyuk due to the constant posting on Instagram.
“Brandon Aiyuk says he terminated his agent last November and currently doesn’t have one (though NFLPA official records do not reflect that change),” reported Meirov. “This would help explain the lack of good advice regarding his recent IG behavior.”
Aiyuk has not played a single down since the 2024-25 season after suffering a torn ACL that year. He was deemed healthy enough to return at some point last season, but never did. Since then, he’s been trolling the 49ers franchise while making it clear he wants to play for the Washington Commanders.
San Francisco voided Aiyuk’s roughly $27 million guaranteed money for the 2026-27 season. He technically remains with the organization, and many expect the 49ers to eventually release Aiyuk. Exactly when that will be is entirely unknown.
