Bolts From The Blue
After the Chargers dominated the Minnesota Vikings this past Thursday night while wearing their navy “Super Chargers” uniforms, the team has decided to give the fans what they want: Another game to rock what some believe may be their best combination.
Per the team, the Chargers will wear their navy blue uniforms again towards the end of the season when they host the Houston Texans inside SoFi Stadium. The game was already circled in red on the calendar as an opportunity to get revenge on the team that sent them home last postseason, but now the vibes will be even more spectacular.
The Chargers avoided a rough start with their alternate uniforms this seasons by bouncing back against the Vikings following a lopsided loss to the Colts while wearing their all gold uniforms. After going 0-6 in their original navy alternates that debuted in 2020, the team made the right call by turning their navy kits into a throwback look that pays homage to one of the best eras of Chargers football.
With that said, here’s to hoping that the winning continues while wearing this look.
