Bleacher Report added another chapter to its long list of deleted posts during the holidays. This time, the outlet removed a graphic that made fun of Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen because of his wife Hailee Steinfeld’s role in the movie Sinners.
The image showed Allen holding a Blu-ray copy of the film and staring at it with a shocked look. Fans quickly noticed the post and shared screenshots before Bleacher Report took it down. The company did not explain why it deleted the graphic.
The timing made it more interesting. Already, Steinfeld’s role in Sinners got a lot of opinions after the movie’s release. Also, some fans pulled Allen into the conversation for no real reason and criticized him over his appearance.
Steinfeld’s role in Sinners took off on social media right after the movie came out. Clips and quotes spread quickly on X and Instagram, and fans reacted to how intense the role was.
That noise soon reached the sports world. Some fans joked about how Josh Allen might react to the movie, even though he had nothing to do with it. A few kept it playful. Colts cornerback Sauce Gardner joined the fun, posting that he would not watch the movie “out of respect to Josh.”

Bleacher Report followed that same joke with a graphic that was later deleted. Just a few months ago, some were accusing Hailee Steinfeld of being behind Allen’s struggles in the games, and now it’s kind of vice versa.
Earlier this month, Allen and Steinfeld shared happier news. They announced that Steinfeld is pregnant with their first child. However, they did not share any due date.
Bleacher Report has been in similar situations before. The outlet has deleted posts after backlash in the past. This move followed that pattern, and the company has not explained why it removed the graphic.
Now, the post only exists in screenshots.
