A trip to Arrowhead Stadium and an AFC Championship Game berth awaits tonight’s victor
The Buffalo Bills and the Baltimore Ravens are set to face off in one of the most highly anticipated games of the 2024 NFL season. This AFC Divisional Round game has it all: it’s a rematch of a game from earlier this season, it has two of the league’s best quarterbacks, and it is one more step for one of these franchises toward denying the Kansas City Chiefs of a third-straight Super Bowl win.
The Bills are looking to avoid elimination in the Divisional Round for the third consecutive season. They lost to Kansas City following the 2021 regular season, then they lost to the Cincinnati Bengals following the 2022 regular season, and then they lost to the Chiefs again after the 2023 season. The last two of those games were played at Highmark Stadium.
The last time Buffalo won a Divisional Round game, though, was after the 2020 NFL season. They hosted the Baltimore Ravens. The Bills would love to repeat that success in earning a trip to Arrowhead Stadium and another date with the Kansas City Chiefs. The Ravens would like to make it to the AFC title game for the second straight year, but this time, they want to avenge their 17-10 defeat at the hands of the Chiefs in last year’s AFC Championship Game.
Both of the league’s MVP frontrunners, Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen and Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson, are ready to go tonight. Two of the league’s top-performing running backs, Baltimore’s Derrick Henry and Buffalo’s James Cook, are ready to go tonight. This is going to be a good one.
