The Buffalo Bills are 2-0, and once again in the driver’s seat of the AFC East machine. It’s familiar territory for Buffalo since quarterback Josh Allen took the NFL by storm back in 2019. In pulling off the most unlikely comeback against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1 and thoroughly dismantling the New York Jets in Week 2, the Bills enter Week 3 as heavy favorites for their Thursday Night Football date with the Miami Dolphins.

As of publishing, the Bills were listed as 12.5-point (-12.5) favorites over the woe-begotten Dolphins. It’s first versus last in the AFC East, where an undefeated Buffalo team must remain focused if they hope to keep Miami winless.

Despite their basement residency, the Dolphins came to life on offense against the New England Patriots this past weekend, but they couldn’t find the defensive resolve to exit with a win on their home field. Now, they’ll have plan for a Bills offense that’s shown capable of scoring points at will — and one that’s also proven more physical than in recent seasons.

This is the first of two Thursday night games for the Bills in 2025, and they’ll face a Dolphins team given equal time to prepare. During short weeks of this nature, it’s paramount to pay close attention to the injury reports in the days ahead. Josh Allen suffered a nose injury in New Jersey, but it only kept him out for a few plays. Linebacker Matt Milano is the other new name to the injury report, where he reportedly suffered a pectoral injury against the Jets.
