You didn’t ask for it, but we’re bringing it to you every week of the season! That’s right, it’s time once again to find out just how Rumblers feel about the Buffalo Bills. Unsuccessfully avoiding sports clichés just three sentences in, we’re not talking practice, we’re talking confidence.
But I’m going to ask voters to consider things differently this time. It’s clear to me that most people voting in these polls have decided to forget the regular season; that the only thing relevant to any Bills discussion centered around success is their (hopeful) playoff campaign. My intent here isn’t to jinx Buffalo and the fan base by saying ““hopeful,” but rather we cannot claim the Bills’ spot in the playoffs is secure until it is.
If someone told you in August that the Bills would be 4-0 with and sitting in first place in the AFC, how would you respond? If you were then told that the offense will score 30 or more points in those games, how would you react? If you were then told that the defense continues to struggle and has to navigate injuries, but manages to change the course of outcome late in action, how would you feel?
Would any of that matter to you, or is it all about how Buffalo responds in the playoffs, and against the Chiefs? Think about it. Where are you at, right now, regarding this team?
