Mark Andrews had two huge miscues against the Bills and started receiving death threats

Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews had a rough game against the Buffalo Bills in the playoffs, dropping a game-tying two-point conversion with 1:33 left on the clock and fumbling in the second half. In addition to some necessary criticism, some have taken to sending Andrews death threats, which we don’t need to say crosses the line.

In response to the harshness of the rhetoric around Andrews, Bills fans have stepped up once again and are donating money to his charity.

Andrews lives with Type 1 diabetes, and has lent his time to diabetes charities. One fan started a Go Fund Me in Andrews’ name to raise money for juvenile diabetes research. At the time of this publication, the number had gone past $12,500 raised with the original goal being $5000.

The Ravens’ tight end has declined to speak with the media since the end of the game. He doesn’t use social media much, but his last message from late December was in response to Pat McAfee donating $50,000 to the Breakthrough T1D fund, that same fund that is benefitting from this Go Fund Me.

Andrews is the Ravens’ second-leading receiver all-time and should pass Derrick Mason for first place early in 2025. He already holds the Ravens’ team record for receiving touchdowns. For fans in Baltimore to bash him is exceedingly wrong.
