The Buffalo Bills survived a thrilling AFC Playoff game on Sunday, against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Just minutes after Buffalo pulled off the road victory, Bills running back James Cook celebrated the moment with a social media post.

“On to next week,” Cook posted to X, formerly Twitter, with exclamation point emojis.

Buffalo defeated Jacksonville on Sunday, 27-24. The Jaguars had looked poised to go on and win the game, but Buffalo got the game-winning touchdown in the final minute of the contest. Buffalo set up that score by first posting an insane 10-yard gain on a tush push play, that saw Josh Allen nearly go in for the touchdown.

Not much longer after that, Allen did rush in for the game-winning touchdown as Jaguars defenders looked stunned. Then with one last chance to win, Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence threw an interception to seal the win for the feisty Buffalo squad.

Cook finished the game for Buffalo with 46 rushing yards, on 15 carries. He led his squad in rushing yards on Sunday.

Bills are thirsting to finally get to a Super Bowl

Buffalo has made several playoff appearances in the last years, but the team hasn’t ever made a Super Bowl with Allen. The Bills look to change that this season. Buffalo is in the postseason while several of their rivals including the Kansas City Chiefs are sitting at home.

Allen played like a champion on Sunday. He lifted the team on his back on the final offensive drive of the game. That tush push play saw Allen carrying a bunch of Jaguars defenders down the field on a fourth and inches. It looked like something out of a movie.

The Bills then called Allen’s number once again on the touchdown play. Buffalo’s veteran quarterback surged ahead from one-yard out to get the score.

Jacksonville saw a historically great season end with the loss. With first-year head coach Liam Coen, the Jaguars won 13 games and captured the AFC South division. The Jaguars will now have to wait another season to try and reach a Super Bowl with Lawrence and company.

Buffalo posted their 13th win of the season with the victory.
