Cleveland Browns fans seem split between wanting HC Kevin Stefanski fired, wanting GM Andrew Berry fired and wanting both fired. There is still a group of fans who believe this season was not set up for success on the field and the Browns are best to give both Berry and Stefanski all of the 2026 season.

While the college ranks had three coaches fired this week, including a former Cleveland quarterback, the Tennessee Titans were the first to pull the trigger at the NFL level, firing Brian Callahan. The Browns allowed legendary OL coach Bill Callahan out of his contract to coach with his son before the 2024 season.

The Feed has had a couple of posts about the potential of bringing the elder Callahan back to Cleveland, including the belief that he would not be able to fix the Browns current personnel issues.

According to a report, Callahan “is leaving the team after it fired his son.” That doesn’t mean Cleveland can hire him for the same position, but a consulting role is often looked at differently in the NFL.

Browns OL Coach Mike Bloomgren has a history with Callahan and might welcome another set of eyes on the unit. Callahan has experience with most of Cleveland’s starting personnel and could not only provide insight but also motivation to his former players.

Would Bill Callahan fix everything that ails the Browns offensive line? Probably not, but adding an elite mind can never hurt.
