New York Giants star wide receiver Malik Nabers has found a unique way to expand upon his expensive collection of diamond jewelry.
After a stellar career at LSU, Nabers earned the right to be the sixth overall pick in last year’s NFL Draft. Being selected that high in the annual event meant getting a four-year deal worth just under $30 million from Big Blue.
With the tens of millions he is guaranteed to get in the contract, Nabers has shown he is a big fan of the finer things in life. Specifically, diamonds and sports cars. In just a year, he has amassed a sizable collection that is allegedly worth over a million dollars. On Sunday, before the team’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers, he showcased a new addition to his diamond collection.

While warming up before the Giants’ Week 4 game, a video caught a shot of the diamond braids Nabers now has. A rumor claims that each braid is worth over $5,000. Well, since it looks like he was sporting three sets on gameday, the budding superstar will have over $15,000 worth of diamonds under his helmet.
Star athletes, especially NFL players, wearing expensive jewelry during games is nothing new. Many sport glistening chains or even golden grills. However, diamond braids are something different. Fortunately, his expensive jewelry should be safe under his helmet on Sunday instead of being out and able to grab like a chain would.
