Former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has a message for all of the team’s fans.
The Pittsburgh Steelers inducted three players as part of their Hall of Honor Class of 2025, including former quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, and he had a special message for all of the fans during the ceremony.
“Steelers Nation, the best fans in all of sports, I’m so thankful I got to play in front of you for 18 years. I could never imagine putting on any other uniform than the black and gold,” Roethlisberger said. “I wanted to win so badly for you because your passion and love for this team runs through your bodies. Y’all bleed for us and I wanted to bleed for you. Thank you for all of your support. I will always bleed black and gold.”

The Steelers drafted Roethlisberger in the first round of the 2004 NFL Draft. He went on to play 18 seasons and more games than any other player in Steelers’ history, with 249.
With Roethlisberger at quarterback, the Steelers had 12 postseason berths, won eight AFC North championships, appeared in five AFC Championship games and went to three Super Bowls, winning two of them.
Roethlisberger also became the youngest quarterback to ever win a Super Bowl when the team won Super Bowl XL, when he was 23, and the second-youngest quarterback to ever win a second Super Bowl when the Steelers won Super Bowl XLIII.
He finished his career with 64,088 passing yards and 418 passing touchdowns. He also added 1,373 yards and 20 touchdowns on the ground.
Former linebacker Joey Porter Sr. and center Maurkice Pouncey also join Roethlisberger in the Steelers Hall of Honor Class of 2025.
All three will be celebrated during the Steelers upcoming game against the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football.
