$10 at +100000 would pay out $10,000 if Landon Dickerson lifts the Pete Rozelle Trophy. And I’ll tell you what – I don’t see it happening! Not once in the history of the known universe has an offensive lineman won Super Bowl MVP. Four of the last five winners have been quarterbacks. The other was Cooper Kupp. And only four times this century has a defensive player won the award. It is typically given to quarterbacks or skill players.
Dickerson would have to do what, pancake Chris Jones 10 times? Piledrive Nick Bolton through the Earth’s crust on a Saquon Barkley touchdown run? Even then, the QB , RB, and receivers are reaping the benefit of the O line play, which is shared across five different players. There’s no way to single yourself out to win an individual award when you play tackle, guard, or center. So it would appear this fan is trolling us, but why the hell not? Let it rip.
