The history between the Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals goes way back and the fight for the hearts of the people of Ohio may never end. Recently, the Bengals and Browns fueded on social media over uniforms and team colors, while the on-field matchup between Cincinnati receivers and Cleveland cornerbacks has been highlight-worthy.
The Bengals and the Browns matchup in Week 1 of the 2025 NFL season, with both hoping to bounce back from missing the playoffs last year. The two have had some great games over the years, with the first Battle of Ohio this year between the All-Offense Cincinnati squad and the All-Defense Cleveland crew.
Speaking about the trip to northern Ohio Sunday, Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase noted his desire to jump into the Dawg Pound but his fear of Browns fans:
Cleveland fans have been known to do a lot of things to opposing players, fans and referees, but we do not have a recent example of anything as serious as Chase is implying. Nonetheless, Browns fans have obviously made themselves known to Cincinnati’s top receiver.
