Jaguars fans, who are you picking in tonight’s game between the Bengals and Cowboys?
Monday Night Football kicks off tonight at 8:15 p.m. EST as the 5-7 Dallas Cowboys host the 4-8 Cincinnati Bengals at AT&T Stadium.
The Bengals are 5.5-point favorites, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, and the total is 49.5 points.
I like the Bengals to win and cover on the road. Cincy has scored 27-plus points in four straight games and ranks fifth in points per game this year. Meanwhile, Dallas had allowed 26-plus points in six straight before facing Drew Lock’s Giants on Thanksgiving (they still allowed 20), and only the Panthers have allowed more points per game.
I fully trust Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins and Chase Brown to score enough points to win tonight. It’s just a question of whether Dallas’ homefield and rest advantages will be enough to help Cooper Rush, CeeDee Lamb, Jake Ferguson and Rico Dowdle keep up on the scoreboard. Maybe it’ll become a high-scoring slop fest between two shoulda-been-playoff teams, but I see Cincinnati taking care of business in Jerry World.
