The Cincinnati Bengals will take the field one last time on Sunday when they face the Cleveland Browns at Paycor Stadium. As they look to close out a disappointing 2025 season on a high note, the team’s injury report has ruled out four players, while confirming one offensive contributor will be good to go.
Running back Chase Brown (illness) is off the injury report after missing practice on Wednesday and Thursday. He will be good to go after being a full participant on Friday.
Defensive end Joseph Ossai (ankle), cornerback Josh Newton (hamstring), center Matt Lee (knee), and receiver/return man Charlie Jones (ankle) will all be out, marking the official end of their seasons.
Defensive tackle B.J. Hill (ankle) is listed as questionable, so he may try to give it a go. He will likely test the ankle out in pregame warmups and make a decision with the medical staff from there.
Tight end Cam Grandy (chest) is also questionable. With Mike Gesicki and Noah Fant healthy and Tanner Hudson as the third tight end, they may opt to keep Grandy inactive and give him an early start to his offseason.
For Cleveland, they will be without their top two tight ends, as David Njoku (personal) and Harold Fannin Jr. (groin) will both be out. Both are very effective players, so Shedeur Sanders will be missing a couple of his weapons.
Standout rookie linebacker Carson Schwesinger (quad/ankle) will also be out. He has had a very strong rookie campaign that has now come to an end.
A few more players came off a lengthy report and have no game status after a week of practice.
