Cincinnati’s defense is now making history in the worst possible ways

The 2024 season will go down as one of the most disappointing seasons in recent history, as the Cincinnati Bengals now hold a 4-8 record.

On one side of the football, Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase have been some of the best players in all of the NFL, but on the other side of the football, the Bengals defense has been historically bad.

The Bengals defense has been so bad that the team has now lost four games after scoring more than 33 points.

That is a new NFL record, which was a three-way tie between the 1985 Chargers, 2002 Chiefs, and 2017 Texans.

There is not really much else to say as the team looks to get through the remainder of the season with five games remaining.

The playoffs are no longer in sight, and the team will look to hit the reset button after a wasted 2024 season.

There should be an entirely new coaching staff this offseason and a lot of work will need to go into the defense if this franchise hopes to stay relevant.
