The Cincinnati Bengals’ season seems bleak moving forward after another brutal loss against the Chicago Bears yesterday. That has other front offices looking towards the Bengals’ roster for potential trade pieces come the trade deadline.

One of the players drawing the most interest is defensive end Trey Hendrickson. With plenty of contenders interested, it’s unlikely that the Bengals will move on from their star pass rusher, as they reportedly want a first-round pick.

During Monday’s media session, Hendrickson was asked how he felt going into the deadline by Paul Dehner of The Athletic, and here is what he had to say:

“I think this offseason I had a million different scenarios that could happen. The only one that happens is the one they approve. It’s kind of out of my hands and I just trust in the Lord through this process. Whatever he has in store it will be done.”

There is a lot that will be happening over the next 24-hours as the deadline fastly approaches. Now, we’re monitoring whether any potential rumors are swirling about the Bengals moving on from Hendrickson, which remains doubtful.
