Cincy Jungle
2025 was a tough season for Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt. He found himself on the bench after poor play before a Lisfranc injury put an end to his season in November.
His rookie contract expires when the new league year begins in March, and while he said he is open to staying in Cincinnati, he would also be interested in a chance of scenery.
On Tuesday, we learned that Taylor-Britt will now be doing jail time for an incident that occurred in September, following the Bengals’ win vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Taylor-Britt was initially arrested for reckless driving and driving without a license following the Bengals’ home opener. He pled guilty, accepted the jail time, and can be seen in Chelsea Sick’s post walking away with crutches and a walking boot. He will serve five days behind bars.
Taylor-Britt could likely find himself in search of a new team in March, and the footage of him being escorted to jail could hurt his market, but we have seen players who have done far worse still land with another team as well.
Taylor-Britt appeared to be rising up the cornerback rankings in 2023, but the past two seasons have been down years for the young corner. Dax Hill and DJ Turner have looked to secure the outside corner spots in Al Golden’s defense, so Taylor-Britt will likely test the market for a chance to start.
The Bengals have not issued a comment on this matter.
