Should the Philadelphia Eagles be concerned about injuries to two of their most important players in wide receiver A.J. Brown and linebacker Zack Baun?
The two have missed multiple practices since last week: Brown with a hamstring injury and Baun with a back contusion.
Brown’s injury might be more concerning given that he missed three games last season with a hamstring issue.
Despite both All-Pro players missing time early in training camp, the Eagles aren’t overly worried.
“Zack Baun and AJ Brown are missing some time but there’s no long-term concern with those guys,” reports NBC Sports Philadelphia’s Dave Zangaro. “Eagles are being cautious with two very important players.”

Baun signed a three-year, $51 million contract after his breakout All-Pro season with the Eagles in 2024. He finished with 3.5 sacks, four pass breakups, five forced fumbles, and 151 total tackles while earning first-team All-Pro honors for the first time in his career.
Brown, meanwhile, posted 67 receptions for 1,079 yards and seven touchdowns in 2024 as he was named second-team All-Pro for the third time in his career.
The Eagles open their preseason Thursday against the Cincinnati Bengals.
