The Chicago Bears have released their final injury report of the week, leading up to their wild card matchup against the Green Bay Packers. In it, they listed defensive back C.J. Gadner-Johnson out with a concussion, an injury that he suffered last week in the regular season finale.

Gardner-Johnson has been starting in the slot role for the Bears this year in defensive coordinator Dennis Allen’s blitz-happy scheme. Without Gardner-Johnson, the next man up, if healthy, would be Kyler Gordon. Gordon, though, has only recently been designated to return from the injured reserve from a groin injury. This week. Gordon was listed as limited on both Tuesday and Wednesday but was a full participant during Thursday’s game. Officially, Gordon is listed as questionable.

If Gordon can’t go, the next man up (third-string) in the slot would be Nick McCloud, who is going to be active for Chicago after being listed on the injury report with an illness this week.

In other injury news for the Bears, starting rookie left tackle Ozzy Trapilo, who missed last week’s game with a quad injury, looks like he’ll play, too, despite being a limited participant on both Tuesday and Wednesday. Starting receiver Rome Odunze, who hasn’t played in a game since November, will also suit up against the Packers after being limited on Tuesday and Wednesday.
