The last time the Chicago Bears played the Baltimore Ravens, linebacker Roquan Smith racked up 17 tackles for the Bears in a 16 to 13 loss. The following season (2022), Chicago traded him to Baltimore when they couldn’t agree on terms for a new contract, and he’s been a First-Team All-Pro every year since. This will be his first time playing his former team, and he’s looking forward to it.

“I’m excited about the matchup, for sure,” he said via the Chicago Sun Times. “A lot of amazing people over there that I have a tremendous amount of respect for, but obviously, it’s the team that’s on the schedule, and every team on the schedule has to get dealt with accordingly.

“You have to be the best version of yourself, week in and week out, and it happens to be the Bears… It’s about doing my job to the best of my ability and showing the world exactly who I am.”

Smith has missed their last two games with a hamstring injury, and with Baltimore coming off the bye week, Smith is back and will play.
