On Sunday, the Chicago Bears host the Los Angeles Rams with the winner advancing to the NFC Championship game. The Bears are coming off a dramatic come-from-behind win against the Packers, but the Rams also came from behind to beat the Panthers in their Wild Card game, thanks to a Matthew Stafford touchdown pass with 38 seconds left.
The Rams have looked like the best team in the NFC for most of the year, but they still fell to second in the NFC West by losing three of their last six regular-season games.
The popular term being floated around about the Bears the last several weeks has been “house money,” because no one really expected the Bears to be in this position in Ben Johnson’s first year as head coach.
But they did win the NFC North.
And they did beat the Packers in the playoffs.
So while they could be playing with house money, that’s not stopping them from going all in on Sunday.
