After facing two 2024 playoff teams to kick off the 2025 season, the Chicago Bears’ next opponent is a Dallas Cowboys franchise that cleaned house in the offseason, coming off a (7-10) year. On paper, this is a much more favorable matchup for the new-look Bears, but the Cowboys are looking at Chicago in the same way.
Dallas sees a Bears team that has had a fourth-quarter collapse and a blowout defeat, with a defense that can’t rush the passer and has allowed 680 total yards in the last five quarters of football.
Chicago is looking at a Dallas defense that allowed Russell Wilson and the New York Giants to rack up over 500 yards in regulation against them last week.
Bears head coach Ben Johnson talked about some reevaluation to take place at Halas Hall this week, so Sunday’s contest could feature some different faces on Soldier Field.
