The Chicago Bears and Washington Commanders are preparing to face off on Monday Night Football in a rematch of a wild game last season.
Before the bye last week, the Chicago Bears team looked like a MASH unit with all the injuries they were dealing with, but their health looks much better after today’s report.
Grady Jarrett was still a DNP. You have to doubt if he’s going to play. Kyler Gordon, Colston Loveland, and Darnell Wright were all limited, but Gordon has already stated he plans to play this week, Darnell Wright has been elevated from DNP to limited, and Colston Loveland remains limited. Saturday’s injury report will be big for those three.
On the positive side, several players were listed as full participants in practice, including Austin Booker, Jaquan Brisker, TJ Edwards, Travis Homer, Johah Jackson, Kyle Monangai, and Cairo Santos.
For the Commanders, there’s still one injury that looms large for them.
Noah Brown and Deebo Samuel were both limited, but it appears both of them are expected to play. But Terry McLaurin was a DNP once again, and you have to think his availability on Monday is doubtful.
We will wait to see what tomorrow’s injury report looks like for both teams, but the Bears look to be far healthier, and the Commanders may be down a key weapon for Jayden Daniels.
