The Chicago Bears and Washington Commanders play on prime time in one of the most anticipated games of the 2025 season. Sure, it’s a rematch of last season’s improbable Washington comeback, when Daniels hit Noah Brown with a 52-yard Hail Mary as time expired, giving the Commanders an 18- 15 win. But it’s also the second-ever meeting between the first and second overall picks of the 2024 NFL Draft, Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels, and it would be great for the league if these two players could have a rivalry for the next decade.
Daniels’ rookie season saw him lead his team to the NFC Championship game, while Williams set all the Bears’ rookie passing records. This season hasn’t been the best start for Daniels as he’s missed a couple of games with a knee injurry, while Williams has improved in just about every category in his four games with Ben Johnson.
