It’s the preseason finale as the Chicago Bears (1-0-1) and the Kansas City Chiefs (0-2) meet up for what some are calling a Super Bowl preview — for 2027! The Chiefs are what the Bears hope to be. A franchise that went decades searching for another Super Bowl championship until finally getting the right quarterback and head coach in place to lead the franchise to multiple Lombardi trophies.
It took the Patrick Mahones-Andy Reid partnership three years together to reach the ultimate prize in the NFL in 2019, and their championship window is still wide open.
We won’t see Mahomes or Bears’ QB Caleb Williams for very long in the game, but it’ll still be neat to see them leading their offenses for a few series.
