Bears vs Browns Injury Report: Rome Odunze questionable, Kyler Gordon out

Frigid temps are expected this Sunday when the Cleveland Browns travel to the Windy City to take on the Chicago Bears. It’s a matchup with huge playoff implications for the Navy and Orange, while the Brownies will try to play spoiler.

Each team just revealed their gameday injury reports, and there’s a stark difference between them. Chicago’s is relatively clean with only wideout Rome Odunze (foot) listed as questionable, and nickel Kyler Gordon (groin) and running back Travis Homer (ankle) ruled out.

Odunze did practice all week, albeit limited, but it would not surprise me if the Bears kept him out one more week to be safe.

Off the injury list and able to play are cornerback Tyrique Stevenson and rookie linebacker Ruben Hyppolite II.

The Browns had a massive injury list all week, and now that they’ve ended the final practice before game day, it’s still a lengthy list.

Ruled out will be corner Denzel Ward (calf), right guard Wyatt Teller (calf), right tackle Jack Conklin (concussion), running back Dylan Sampson (calf), tight end David Njoku (knee), defensive tackle Adin Huntington (quad), and quarterback Deshaun Watson (Achilles).

Cleveland lists the following as questionable: left guard Joel Bitonio (knee, back), wideout Malachi Corley (concussion), defensive tackle Mason Graham (ribs), receiver Cedric Tillman (concussion), and guard Zak Zinter (back).

So, from where the Browns started Week 1, they are missing 4 of their 5 starting offensive linemen, and the fifth, Bitonio, is questionable. If there was ever a game for the Bears’ defensive line to get right, this is it.
