Windy City Gridiron
Modern football is all about big plays and as a companion piece to the STEP Differential, I’m tracking the Bears big plays all year in this Infogram:
The final screen is full and looking great. I thought there was a great potential for hitting a lot of explosives in the finale, taking Caleb Williams over 4,000 yards on the year and filling up the honeycomb. Alas, the regular season ended with a bit of a thud. Let’s hope the playoffs help revive this big play offense.
Rome Odunze wins for most explosives this year with 13 but it was a tight race with DJ Moore (12), Luther Burden (11), and Colston Loveland (10) all hitting double digits. Next year will be a lot of fun to see who wins that race.

Big play, long dance.
This is an Andrew Billings sack, believe it or not.
Not the prettiest ball but it worked.
Kudos to Kmet for holding onto this one.
I thought this was going to be what closed this game out for the Bears… Great year from Byard.
