Before the season, Bears versus Eagles didn’t sound all that intriguing. But as of Week 13, it’s a clash of two division-leading, 8-3 football teams — the No. 2 and 3 playoff seeds in the current NFC playoff picture.
Under first-year head coach Ben Johnson, the Bears continue to prove their mettle as a force to be reckoned with. The Eagles, on the other hand, have maintained their status as a top NFC contender after last season’s Super Bowl victory, even if they don’t seem like quite as much of a super team this time around.
