Baltimore Beatdown
Waking up the morning after a Ravens loss is never fun. It’s even worse when that loss comes against a divisional opponent, and perhaps worse still when it is the result of five turnovers. That is simply no way to win a football game. With the 32-14 loss to the Bengals, the Ravens drop to 6-6 and second place in the AFC North.
Baltimore’s defense stood firm for much of Thursday night’s game, but they were on the field far too long in the first half and it showed in the second. The offense turned the ball over five times and rarely found a rhythm. Lamar Jackson didn’t look sharp, and Derrick Henry and Keaton Mitchell were effective but horribly underutilized. There are no clear answers on that side of the ball with a string of tough defenses to close the year.
So, what do you think? Why did the Ravens offense collapse against the Bengals, and what are their playoff chances moving forward? Join the discussion in the comments and share your thoughts on the Ravens’ loss to the Bengals!
