The Baltimore Ravens have a season-defining matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night. Here are Baltimore Beatdown’s bold predictions for tonight’s game:

The Ravens have a way of surprising their fans in the worst ways. Tonight, that would be leaning on Derrick Henry and rushing for over 200 yards as a team but still finding a way to lose. It may not be fair to call that a bold prediction – it’s happened twice already this year. One of those games was the first matchup against the Steelers, in which the Ravens didn’t show up until midway through the third quarter and stopped running the ball once they got to the red zone. This time, they will get off to an unusually strong start before fading in the second half, an inversion of their typical pattern this year. The Steelers will pull off some kind of crazy touchdown, and the Ravens will run out of time on the game’s final drive. 17-13, Steelers. – Nikhil Mehta

n a winner take all showdown for the AFC North, the Ravens will prevail. While I typically would pick against the Ravens in this spot, John Harbaugh might be coaching for his job and this is a team that has historically performed well with their backs against the wall. I expect the Steelers, like last year, to completely sell out to stop Derrick Henry which will make it imperative that Lamar Jackson plays well. With the hurricane of negative PR that’s surrounded Jackson this past week, I expect him to deliver and look like the QB we saw over the first few weeks of the season. Bold prediction: Jackson runs for over 70 yards and carries Baltimore to the playoffs. 20-19 Ravens. – Stephen Bopst

This is it. Week 18, winner take all, Ravens Steelers. What more could you ask for as a sports fan, especially after a 1-5 start. The Ravens look primed to take this game with the Steelers missing DK Metcalf and Darnell Washington.

But instead, the Ravens will find a way to drop today’s game. The Ravens will start with a heavy Derrick Henry game plan, but with Steelers keying on it, will find little success. The offense will panic and turn to an air heavy attack which allows TJ Watt to wreck the game with multiple sacks and a strip. The Ravens defense struggles to finish tackles in space, allowing the run game for the Steelers to do just enough to maintain a lead. Ravens lose a low scoring affair, 13-10. John Harbaugh is fired within a week and the Ravens future hangs uncertain. – Zach Canter

The Ravens win the AFC North for the third year in a row with a convincing victory over the Steelers. After watching Derrick Henry run rampant a week ago, Pittsburgh’s defense sells out to stop the run, opening up the passing attack for Lamar Jackson in his return to action. Jackson tosses three touchdowns while looking much...
