Baltimore Beatdown
The Baltimore Ravens (4-5) are visiting the Cleveland Browns (2-7) looking to complete a season sweep of their divisional rivals. In Week 2, the Ravens crushed the Browns in Baltimore, 41-17, on the back of two turnovers on defense and four passing touchdowns from Lamar Jackson. A win on Sunday afternoon could put the Ravens in first place in the AFC North if the Bengals beat the Steelers in the early window.
Baltimore will still have to take care of business in Cleveland. The Browns have a stout defense that gave Derrick Henry plenty of trouble in Week 2, but their offense has been even worse under rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel than it was over former Raven (and current Bengal) Joe Flacco. They have lost four of their five games with Gabriel under center and eclipsed 20 points just once.
The Ravens, meanwhile, have won their last three games by an average margin of 14.7 points, scoring at least 27 points and allowing fewer than 20 in each matchup. After struggling to play complementary football earlier this season, Baltimore has found some rhythm on both sides of the ball during their winning streak. Their special teams units, led by punter Jordan Stout, returner LaJohntay Wester, and safety Keondre Jackson, have consistently won the field position battle, too.
Tune into Sunday afternoon’s game on CBS and Paramount+ to see if the Ravens can win their fourth game in a row and sweep the Browns for the first time since 2020!
