Baltimore Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely was carted off at the end of Tuesday’s practice after suffering a concerning injury.

According to Jonas Shaffer and Giana Han of The Baltimore Banner, Isaiah Likely had to be carted off after suffering “what appeared to be an ankle or lower-leg injury.” Head coach John Harbaugh later told reporters that Likely rolled his ankle and will likely miss a few weeks.

Shaffer and Han reported that Likely hurt his ankle during a 1-on-1 red zone drill against second-year safety Sanoussi Kane. Harbaugh added that they’ll get more information on Wednesday.

News of Likely’s injury broke shortly after Cleveland Browns standout cornerback Martin Emerson had to be carted off practice with a left leg injury. Like Baltimore’s star tight end, Emerson is heading into the last season of his rookie deal.

After being used in a rotational role over his first two seasons, Isaiah Likely became a regular starter in 2024. He caught 42 passes for 477 yards and six touchdowns, all career highs. In Baltimore’s two playoff games, he racked up seven receptions for 126 yards and a touchdown.

Over his first three NFL seasons, the 25-year-old Likely has 108 receptions for 1,261 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Likely’s Ravens will kick off the 2025 season in an early “Game of the Year candidate” against the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium. This will be a rematch of last season’s thrilling Divisional Round contest, which Buffalo narrowly won 27-25 after Mark Andrews dropped a potential game-tying two-point conversion.
