Baltimore Beatdown
The Baltimore Ravens posted their inactives for their Week 11 matchup with the Cleveland Browns:
Rookie outside linebacker Mike Green is active despite injuring his ankle in practice this week. He was listed as questionable coming into the game after missing practice on Friday. The second-round pick leads the Ravens with five quarterback hits and ranks second with 14 pressures, per Pro Football Focus.
Wide receiver Devontez Walker will get the nod with Rashod Bateman sidelined by a sprained ankle. Walker has primarily played special teams this year with only 24 snaps on offense. He has made three catches for 60 yards, including a 24-yard touchdown against the Browns in Week 2.
Rookie defensive tackle Aeneas Peebles and veteran offensive tackle Joe Noteboom are healthy scratches, Peebles for the fifth game in a row and Noteboom for the second.
Justice Hill (toe) and Marlon Humphrey (finger) were ruled out on Friday after missing practice all week.
Offensive coordinator Todd Monken and quarterback Lamar Jackson will have to adjust their pass protection plan with Hill, their usual third-down back, sidelined. His absence will mean more work for Keaton Mitchell and potentially some involvement for Rasheen Ali.
Undrafted rookie cornerback Keyon Martin finished last week’s game in the slot after Humphrey exited. The Ravens could call on Martin again when they need a dedicated nickel, but Kyle Hamilton has been lining up in the slot for at least 20 snaps per game over the last four weeks. Safeties Malaki Starks and Alohi Gilman have also dropped into the slot for some defensive looks and could see an uptick in that usage against the Browns.
