The Baltimore Ravens are getting set for the 2025 season, but before that happens, they need help from a legendary swimmer.
Just as Michael Phelps was attached to the Arizona Diamondbacks during the Major League Baseball team’s playoff run, the most decorated Olympian of all time continues to be a celebrity face for the Ravens.
In an adorable video posted to Instagram, cornerback Marlon Humphrey and several of his teammates invited Phelps, a Baltimore native and avid Ravens fan, to give them swimming lessons.
Humphrey and several teammates, branding themselves as the “Ravens Aquatics Team,” had some fun during training camp by making a video while in the pool.
They revealed that one in three Baltimore players cannot swim. Humphrey capped it off with a straightforward request to Phelps.
Wild: A third of the Ravens players CANNOT swim.
They posted this video to recruit the legendary Michael Phelps to teach them how to swim this offseason.

“Come to the Ravens training camp in this beautiful aquatic center and teach us how to swim,” said Humphrey.
Last year Michael Phelps and eldest son Boomer Phelps delivered the gameday ball at Truist Park before the Ravens took on the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Baltimore Ravens won 12 games, led the NFL in rushing, and Lamar Jackson had an MVP-worthy season.
Unfortunately, the Ravens would lose to the Buffalo Bills in the postseason. It’s the kind of ending that fans have grown accustomed to seeing for John Harbaugh’s team.
The team continues to fall short of the Super Bowl despite a roster that is annually built to compete for one.
The Baltimore Ravens are currently favored to win Super Bowl LIX, with some sportsbooks listing them as high as +600.
They still have to go out and prove it.
