Bad Bunny hosted Saturday Night Live this weekend, just days after he was announced as the headlining artist for the Super Bowl LX Halftime Show. Super Bow LX will be held on February 8, 2026 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
The global best-selling Puerto Rican pop star was the host of Saturday Night Live‘s Season 51 premiere alongside musical guest Doja Cat. In addition to being recently announced as the Super Bowl Halftime Show headliner, the 31-year-old is also set to begin his global Debí Tirar Más Fotos World Tour in November.
Notably, Bad Bunny has said he did not schedule any tour dates in the United States due to concerns about ICE using his concerts to target people. Following his announcement as the Super Bowl Halftime Show performer, however, DHS head Kristi Noem said ICE agents will be “all over” the event in Santa Clara on February 8.
Bad Bunny, real name Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, certainly doesn’t seem to be swayed by the backlash to his selection as the halftime show, however, as he took a shot at those very people during his opening monologue on Saturday Night Live.
