The former Browns back and Cleveland native was honest about his thoughts on Myles Garrett’s trade request
The SEC has a slogan saying “It Just Means More.” While not trying to pick a fight with a powerhouse (but not National Champions this year) college football conference, I think it means more for the fans of the Cleveland Browns. Even if being a fan is not easy, everything matters for Browns fans.
Heck, Cleveland fans even talk about the “Gets Us” meter and value players who are from the area at a higher level.
DE Myles Garrett wasn’t from here but he seemed to fall in love with the city and the fans. RB Kareem Hunt is from the Cleveland area and played passionately for the team he grew up rooting for before departing in free agency (and returning to the Kansas City Chiefs after the season had started).
While preparing to play in the upcoming Super Bowl, something Garrett has stated is his goal in a trade, Hunt spoke about his former teammate’s trade request:
Hunt clearly still cares about the team even catching himself calling the Browns “we” before switching to “Cleveland figures it out.”
