A Chiefs
It took four weeks, but the Chiefs offense came alive and all it needed was Xavier Worthy out on the field. With Worthy back in the lineup, the Chiefs’ offense exploded for 37 points. Worthy played a big part in the resurgence with 85 receiving yards and 38 rushing yards. Patrick Mahomes, who threw four TD passes, looked a lot more comfortable with his speedy receiver back on the field. Rashee Rice will be back on the field in Week 7, and what that happens, the Chiefs will be back at full strength and we all know what this team can do when they’re at full strength.
Week 4 NFL Takeaways: If You Thought the Chiefs Were Dead, That’s on You | SI
“I think the word that comes to mind, that’s come up the most in conversation is energy,” linebacker Drue Tranquill told me postgame. “I feel like when our energy is good and our leaders are passionate, vocal and executing on a high level, it seems like we click. There were a few times last year where we started slow in the first half. They were getting out in front of us or the offense was struggling to get going. It even happened today a little. Credit to Baltimore going down to get a touchdown at the start.”
The swagger was missing.
No play illustrated the odd place in which the Ravens found themselves more than the fourth-and-1 play at the Baltimore 41 with 3:01 left in the second quarter and the Chiefs still within reach at 13-7. Despite the presence of the wrecking ball that is Henry, or the ever slippery Jackson, the Ravens didn’t look to impose their will on their foes as they have so many times before. Instead, they went spread formation, empty backfield, and Jackson — who hasn’t looked comfortable behind his line all season — dropped back and threw an incompletion to backup running back Justice Hill, turning the ball over on downs.

QB Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs
Can it really be 48 games since the last time Mahomes had four or more touchdown passes and no interceptions?
It seems like there’s an AFC playoff preview every week, and Ravens vs. Chiefs was definitely one. Mahomes showed the Chiefs are better than their record would show, getting them back to 2-2 with 270 yards and touchdown passes to four players.
Mahomes’ four touchdown passes were more than his first games combined. I’m not saying they’re the old Chiefs, but they’re still dangerous.
