Rashee Rice makes Chiefs return but NFL suspension persists | The Express

The Super Bowl champion is now permitted to rejoin the team’s facilities this week and reconnect with his Chiefs colleagues, participating in their strategic meetings and film review sessions. However, he’s still barred from practicing due to his ongoing NFL suspension.

Rice faced disciplinary action after receiving a 30-day jail sentence, five years of probation, and being ordered to pay over $115,000 in restitution stemming from his role in a March 2024 car crash in Dallas.

Travis Kelce handed major fine punishment by NFL | The US Sun

Kelce, 35, reacted with an unusual celebration.

The incident took place during the Chiefs’ 20-17 defeat to Philadelphia Eagles. In the third quarter Kelce received a pass from Patrick Mahomes on his own 35-yard line and dashed upfield. The tight end reached the Eagles 45-yard line and he was delighted with his effort.

He stretched out his arms towards the ground and began shaking his hands, with his palms open.

Chiefs Pushed to Trade for Former 1,500-Yard HR Threat RB as Pacheco Upgrade | Heavy

Since his injury in 2024, Isiah Pacheco has not been the same home run threat for the Kansas City Chiefs, and calls are beginning to mount for KC to upgrade their RB1 situation via trade.

With the Miami Dolphins falling to 0-3 on September 18, Arrowhead Addict writer and analyst Christian Ainsworth urged the Chiefs to pursue a trade for one of the AFC East franchise’s top playmakers, speed demon running back De’Von Achane.

“The shortcomings of Kansas City’s running back room have been dissected endlessly, and for good reason. Through two weeks, Isiah Pacheco and Kareem Hunt have managed just 94 yards on 28 carries (a miserable 3.35 yards per attempt). That’s abysmal even by Andy Reid’s limited zone-run standards,” Ainsworth began.

Aaron Rodgers passes Brett Favre on NFL’s all-time passing TD list, moves into 4th place by himself | Yahoo Sports

Aaron Rodgers and Brett Favre will forever be intertwined.

Now Rodgers has a leg up on his fellow Green Bay Packers legend in the NFL record book. On Sunday, Rodgers threw a second-quarter touchdown pass to DK Metcalf to give the Pittsburgh Steelers a 14-0 lead over the New England Patriots.

The touchdown pass was the 509th of Rodgers’ NFL career, giving him one more than Favre and moving him into fourth place by himself on the all-time passing touchdown list. Only Tom Brady (649), Peyton Manning (571) and Drew Brees (571) have thrown more touchdowns than Rodgers.
