Happy Victory Monday one and all.
The Arizona Cardinals sit at 1-0 and now will play host to the Carolina Panthers in their 2025 home opener. The Panthers are coming off a 26-10 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, and now travel to Arizona for their second road game of the season.
With all of that, our friends over at FanDuel Sportsbook have the Arizona Cardinals as 6.5-point favorites to open things up this week.
As Cardinals fans, we know that is not something that happens often, as dating back to 2015 with Bruce Arians, the Cardinals are a staggering 1-7 against the Panthers.
In fact, their last win over the Panthers was in October of 2022, when Kyler Murray and the offense scored 16 fourth quarter points to break at 10-10 tie and win that one 26-16.
So, with the way the Panthers struggled in week one, and the Cardinals coming off a victory on the road, it makes sense that the line is big, just hope it doesn’t stretch too much this week. Let’s keep things under the radar here in Arizona.
