It was never a question since the loss to the Tennessee Titans, but now it is a reality.
The Arizona Cardinals are officially eliminated from the NFL Playoffs.
What is staggering, is in their time in Arizona the Cardinals have never been eliminated this early.
Now, it’s a bit of semantics, because it happened on the last day of November so they are technically eliminated before December, but that is still another amazing feat this year.
People are split on things.
I’ve seen a lot of blame on the staff, as the team seems unprepared consistently.
I’ve seen it on the players because of the inability to consistently execute the gameplan.
I’ve seen excuses because of injuries.
I’ve seen people blame Monti Ossenfort.
When you are historically bad for a franchise that is one of the worst in all of sports history, then the blame should always start at the top.
None of the blame game will really matter when you realize that this is just another data point for a historically inept franchise, and there’s only one constant.
