The Ole Miss prospect has immense upside as a pass rusher.
We have gone through the consensus board, now we have to look at the players who the Arizona Cardinals have met with.
It won’t be as many, or there is overlap, we will not look at them again, but it will allow us to continue to build our board with some confidence.
This time, we are just using the Walter Football meeting tracker, and going in alphabetical order, and only top 30 visits.
Top 30 visits are ending today, so if anything gets added we will have more, but we have been able to work our way through a number of prospects and can start to build our tiers rankings for the 2025 NFL Draft.
We finish, for now, with a look at Princely Umanmielen the Ole Miss edge rusher who had 10.5 sacks after finishing 2023 at Florida with seven sacks.
From PFF:
Umanmielen feels like a specialized finesse pass-rushing OLB in a 3-4 defense. If you want him to be more versatile than that, you might be disappointed in the lack of consistency. However, if you put him in that role correctly, he can be a backfield difference-maker for you on some of the most pivotal plays of the game.
I like some of the comps I have seen for Umanmielen, such as Whitney Mercilus, Boye Mafe, Azeez Ojulari.
It also explains why people see him as a pass rusher only early. If you can get that on day two, it would make sense.
