The Cardinals are being linked by one NFL Draft expert to a trio of prospects.
Happy Wednesday one and all.
The pre-draft hoopla, smoke screens, and subterfuge is all over, so let’s throw some more gasoline on that fire.
Our good buddy Andy Kwong asked Lance Zierlein during an “X” Q&A session some names to know for the Arizona Cardinals.
Fasten your seatbelts.
Just based on the discussions on this site, I don’t think people would be overly excited about that.
We have talked about two of them. Tyler Booker is a very good guard, but lacks what we have seen from an athleticism standpoint of previous guards in the Drew Petzing offense. Are they potentially going away from power and wide zone to a more gap based offense? On the flipside, he may be the best pass pro guard in the draft based off the metric scores, but his lack of athleticism is concerning.
Then, Shemar Stewart has been discussed quite a bit on the site and we know the pros and cons.
Walter had a great look at the prospect and why he could make sense.
Finally, Tetairoa McMillan is an interesting prospect, in that he is a big, long, athletic receiving threat in the Tee Higgins mold.
However, would that mean Michael Wilson is on the outs? Would they trust Wilson to be a slot weapon, or would just getting an alpha in a draft that may lack those types be the right move?
Always fun this time of year.
