Jonathan Gannon is a defensive guy, right?

Well, his defense was handed a 20-16 lead with 3:51 left in the third quarter.

They lost this one 37-20 after taking that lead.

They were outgained 217 to 39 (if you take out the kneel downs) after they took the lead in the third quarter.

It was a nice second half for Michael Wilson, and the Cardinals have Trey McBride and Wilson heading into next year.

After that, there are nothing but questions on both sides of the ball.

They have a lot of decisions to make, especially in regards to the staff and roster makeup. They don’t seem any closer than when they hired Monti Ossenfort and Jonathan Gannon, but it seems like they may run it back, more on that tomorrow.

The Cardinals will have a top five pick for the third time in four seasons, and have exactly two wins with Jonathan Gannon as head coach when the team is not quarterbacked by Kyler Murray.

However, they are paying Kliff Kingsbury (who could be out in Washington) and have two years left on the Gannon contract, so paying three coaches is something that would be a lot to ask Michael Bidwill, who is always strapped for actual cash.

The Cardinals should have the third overall pick, we will see once the dust settles this evening.

It is over.
